About Southshore Solutions
Enterprise experience, neighborly service.
Southshore Solutions started with a simple idea: good tech help should be available to everyone, not just the big companies with their own IT departments.
I see a lot of businesses getting by on technology that's fallen a little behind, and most of them just need someone friendly in their corner to help them catch up. That's what I'm here for. Whether you run a growing business or you're a neighbor with a laptop that won't cooperate, I'll make the tech side feel a whole lot easier.
The story
From the enterprise data center to your front door
I'm Devin Congdon, the engineer behind Southshore Solutions. For more than a decade I've made my living turning complicated technology into something people can actually rely on. I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and I'm a Microsoft certified Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500) and Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300).
Like a lot of people in this field, I started out doing the everyday work. I was the person leadership came to when something broke, I ran Active Directory and company email, and one of my first big projects was moving an organization's Microsoft Office setup into the cloud. From there I grew into cloud and systems roles at life science companies, where I automated account setup with PowerShell, built secure ways for staff to work remotely, tightened up logins and single sign on, and helped pass strict SOC 2 security audits.
As a senior Azure consultant, I designed secure, reliable cloud setups for clients in higher education, healthcare, life sciences, and construction, and I helped them get more value out of what they were already spending. Later I supported critical banking systems, and today I lead cloud infrastructure engineering for a software company, where I build Azure environments, automate how changes get shipped, and mentor other engineers.
Southshore Solutions is where all of that comes together. My goal is simple. I want to take what I've learned in those demanding environments and make it available to businesses of every size, and to the people in my community who just want their technology to work. No jargon. No pushy upsells. No runaround. Just honest help from someone who genuinely enjoys this work.
